This Privacy Policy explains how the Traveller mobile app and related services (together, the “Service”) collect, use, and share information.
1) Who we are

2) What we collect
A) Information you provide
- Account info (e.g., email, display name/username) if you create an account.
- User content you upload or submit (e.g., videos, captions, reports/feedback, saved plans).
- Support messages when you contact us.
B) Information collected automatically
- Device & app data: app version, device model, OS version, language, time zone, identifiers needed for security and authentication.
- Usage data: screens viewed, features used, crash logs, performance metrics.
- Location: approximate location may be inferred; precise location is used only if you grant permission, to show nearby places.
C) Information from third parties
- Apple / Google sign-in (if used) provides authentication tokens and basic account info.
- Apple In‑App Purchase provides purchase/subscription status (we do not receive full payment card details).
- Maps/place providers may provide place details, categories, coordinates, and photos for points of interest.
3) How we use information
- Provide and maintain the Service (accounts, city guides, plans, saved items).
- Show relevant content (e.g., nearby places and recommendations).
- Validate purchases/subscriptions and unlock paid features.
- Keep the Service safe (fraud prevention, abuse detection, content moderation).
- Debug, improve, and measure performance (crash logs, diagnostics).
- Communicate with you (support replies, service messages).
4) Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Contract: to provide the Service you request.
- Legitimate interests: to secure, improve, and measure the Service (balanced with your rights).
- Consent: for optional permissions (e.g., precise location, camera/microphone), which you can withdraw in device settings.
- Legal obligation: where required.
5) iOS permissions
- Location: used to show nearby places (optional).
- Photos: used to select/upload media and save exports (optional).
- Camera & Microphone: used only when you choose to capture content (optional).
6) Sharing
We may share information with:
- Service providers (hosting, authentication, analytics/diagnostics, media storage/streaming).
- Payment partners (Apple) to validate subscription status.
- Legal/safety if required by law or to protect users and the Service.
- Business transfer (merger/acquisition) with notice where required.
We do not sell your personal information.
7) Data retention
- We keep account data while your account is active.
- We retain security/diagnostic logs for a limited period.
- When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data unless we must keep certain records for legal reasons.
8) Your choices and rights
Delete account: in the app go to Profile → Delete account.
You may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data (depending on your location). Email support@avirel.es to request.
9) International transfers
Your data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
10) Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
11) Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No system is 100% secure.
12) Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide notice of material changes where required.
